Adele released a new single earlier today on Youtube and people the world over are hyperventilating.
The song is titled “Hello” and it is from the superstar’s upcoming album 25.
Take a listen. But please don’t pass out. That would be just embarrassing.

Labeled Provisional Ballot Box Still Sitting At Another Broward School

What’s News In This Story?
–Multiple sources tell RISE NEWS that a box labeled “Provisional Ballot Box” is still sitting at Stirling Elementary School in Hollywood.
-The box was opened and moved by school staff after Election Day because it was located in a room used by students at the school.
-The school’s principal told RISE NEWS that they opened the box labeled “Provisional Ballot Box” and other boxes while they were being moved.
This photo was taken by a teacher at Stirling Elementary School. It shows some of the materials still left behind by the Supervisor of Elections Office.
-The principal, Jacqueline Arnaez said that there were “unused” papers in the box and some extension cords. She did not think there were any ballots in the box.
-It was not locked and was very light according to Arnaez.
-The school’s media room was used as the voting place for voters in Broward County’s V053 precinct.
-Large pieces of voting equipment were also left at the school.
Some of the equipment left behind at Stirling Elementary School in Hollywood.
–Arnaez said that it was common practice for the Broward County Supervisor Of Elections Office to leave behind equipment and other elections related materials for days after Election Day.
-She could not recall whether a box labeled “Provisional Ballot Box” was ever left at the school after past elections.
–A spokesperson for the Broward elections office could not be reached by publication of this story.
–A similar gray box was found yesterday at Sunshine Elementary School in Miramar. That box was locked, however.
-Dozel Spencer, Broward’s director of voting equipment center operations told the Sun-Sentinel that were no ballots found in the locked box.
These print outs are still taped to the wall of the Stirling Elementary School in Hollywood.
-A parent of a student at the school told RISE NEWS that she felt the situation was “outrageous”.
“It just seems very irregular that these boxes were left around like this,” Maria-Victoria Ramirez, the mother of a student at the school who took some pictures of the box said. “I think we need to get to the bottom of why all these boxes are lying around.”

Millennial Travel Guide: A Day Trip To Northern Ireland
Another weekend in Ireland calls for another day trip!
My roommates and I decided to make the journey to Northern Ireland to see Belfast City, Giant’s Causeway, and Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge as a quick getaway from Dublin.
Not leaving the island, but being in a different country was another thing I could check off my bucket list after our excursion to the United Kingdom.
We left Dublin with our Paddywagon tour and headed North!
The luck of the Irish was with us again as we got nearly perfect weather for a day, according to Northern Ireland standards.
Everything’s just better when the weather cooperates.
Our first stop was particularly exciting for me, as a huge Game of Thrones fan.
We got to see THE Dark Hedges on the King’s Road.
This iconic destination was beautiful regardless if you watch the show or not, but definitely a bonus for those of us with an obsession.
Back on the bus we continued on to the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge.
The bridge connects the mainland to Carrick Island.
It was originally built by fishermen so they could cast nets over the wide chasm; however, now it is purely a tourist attraction for the brave.
We watched as people crossed before us and the 100 feet drop didn’t seem to daunting.
The second I stepped on that bridge the 100 feet felt like 1000.
Once I got over initial fear of the height I was able to fully enjoy the views and they were spectacular.
Watering crashing below, cliffs on either side, and only wood and a few ropes under my feet is something I’ve never experienced.
Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge is a definite must-see of Northern Ireland.
The main attraction of our tour was Giant’s Causeway.
This place truly blew my mind.
There are over 40,000 basalt columns formed through volcanic burning and cooling.
The formations are reportedly 60 million years old and even have the legend of Finn McCool to try to explain the fanaticism of the site.
We hopped from rock to rock with the ocean in front of us and the mountains behind us.
It was a picturesque scene everywhere we looked.
This seems to be a common theme of my travels.
After two hours of climbing, sitting, and taking in the views we had to say goodbye to Giant’s Causeway.
Honestly still confused how volcanic rock can form into hexagons and be stacked so perfectly together.
We ended the day by getting a little time to explore Belfast City.
Steeped in history, we were overwhelmed by the city’s tumultuous past.
The effects of the Troubles are still seen today with conflict between the Protestants and Catholics of the city.
Regardless of the dangerous past of Belfast, the city center offered us a glimpse into the urban side of Northern Ireland.
It was a great ending to a great day. When you’re on an island as beautiful as I am, there’s no reason not to explore as much as possible.

Jessica Jones: The Female Super Hero We All Really Need

Last month Netflix premiered it’s latest collaboration project with Marvel Comics- Marvel’s Jessica Jones.
Starring Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, the show follows a troubled New York private investigator who doesn’t play by the rules and also happens to have super strength and the ability to (kind of) fly.
Jessica Jones is the first female lead in the Marvel cinematic universe with special abilities. But her super powers are not what makes her so special.
Jessica Jones isn’t a super hero. She doesn’t wear a cape, or fight evil villains who are trying to take over the world. The evil Jessica Jones faces is a very real one, one that many real women face everyday. Jessica Jones isn’t trying to save mankind from a super evil mastermind; she is fighting against her abuser.
Kilgrave is the notorious villain of the show played by David Tennant. He has the power of mind-control and throughout the show viewers are shown flashbacks of Kilgrave and Jessica’s past “relationship” when she was under his control.
Not only does he force her to commit violent and heinous crimes, including murder, he also forces her into an abusive relationship. Using his powers he forces her to stay by his side while he tells her what to wear, when to smile, and even forces her to have sex with him. He controls her every move, all the while she remains helpless and unable to fight back.
She is able to escape from him, but only to suffer from PTSD accompanied by severe alcoholism, isolation, and insomnia for months after. When Kilgrave makes his return he wants only one thing – Jessica back. And he’ll do anything or hurt anyone to get her. He justifies all his horrific actions because he is doing so out of “love” for her.
Now, if you eliminate the superpowers and car chases from the show, the relationship between Jessica Jones and Kilgrave is very much real. He abuses her, but not physically. He never lays a finger on her because he doesn’t have to.
Everything Kilgrave does to Jessica are things that happen to people in mentally and emotionally abusive relationships. The way he obsesses over her and stalks her, the way he isolates her from her friends, when she tries to go to the police they don’t believe her, how he honestly believes he loves her, and how after all of the terrible things he has done to her Jessica genuinely believe it’s her fault.
Mental and emotional abusive tend to be overlooked when discussing issues of abuse in relationship. But they are just as harmful and need to be talked about, and that is why Jessica Jones is so important. This show brings to light real terrors that face women every day and show a realistic woman fighting against them.
And that is why Jessica Jones is one of the most important characters that Marvel has ever had.
