Man Goes Berzerk On Irish Plane Flight, Bites Fellow Passenger And Then Dies

In a terrible scene that some have likened to a Zombie horror flick, a man in Ireland is dead after becoming extremely agitated on a flight, biting a fellow passenger before dying shortly afterwards.

The “horror” as described by the Irish Mirror occurred on a flight from Lisbon, Portugal to Dublin around 5 PM local time.

Aer Lingus flight EI485 was forced to make an emergency landing in Cork after the pilot declared a “medical emergency” on the flight according to the Guardian.

According to multiple media reports, a 24 year old man (who is not thought to have been an Irish citizen) became very angry on the flight and started biting another passenger before being restrained. Of the 170 passengers on board, there was at least one doctor who attempted to provide some medical assistance to the man.

From the Irish Mirror:

“It is understood the man later became unwell after being restrained and fell into a state of unconsciousness, before being pronounced dead on the Dublin-bound flight.”

The story was first reported by RTE.
